Their lungs will function abnormally. Their risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) increases up to four times. In most cases, you may have premature babies. American Academy of Pediatrics believes that your babies will have lower intelligence and attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity.

Should You Be Concerned About Second Hand Smoke?

Cigarette SmokeSome people have severe allergic disorders. Exposure to second hand or passive smoke can be life-threatening for them.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classified second hand smoke as a Class A carcinogen. Second hand smoke can pose health hazards to everyone. The most affected group are children, infants and the unborn foetus. Infants who are exposed to second hand smoke encounter higher incidence of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) as compared to infants who are free from tobacco smoke.
